Description:
Marketplace Lodge - stay at Dan & Linda's 1 bedroom condo in the heart of Whistler Village. All retail amenities are literally in your back yard. There's free underground parking but no need for a car - minutes to the lifts in the winter, or to golf, tennis, the Valley trails, or the beach in the summer, with dozens of shops and restaurants right outside your door.

Romantic gas fireplace & cosy window seat for two to admire the third-floor views of Blackcomb Mountain or watch the activity below on Main Street. Relax at the hot tub located down the hall, or choose from our wide selection of CDs or movies. There are games for the kids with you or the kids in you, including board games and the world's smallest working pool table.

All the usual kitchen stuff, plus espresso machine, coffee grinder, waffle maker, blender, and popcorn maker. Separate eating area with fine cutlery, wine glasses, and dinnerware with a pattern that will put a smile on your face. Queen bed in the bedroom; very comfortable large double futon in the living area, and extra single foamy mattresses. A travel cot is available for infants. Perfect for a couple, with or without a few kids or an extra adult. Can be happily shared by two couples, so long as a second bedroom is not required. We only cater to families and couples; no large groups of singles, please. Sorry, we love pets, but the strata corporation won't allow them. Absolutely no smokers.

Departure cleaning can be arranged for an additional CAD$150 per stay, but most of our guests prefer to bring their own linen, or use ours and wash them before leaving - there is a coin laundry just three doors away. It will take two of you about an hour to leave the unit as clean as you found it.

Our guests come back year after year. If this place feels like home away from home, its because it is - we bring our own family here each and every month of the year. When people stay in our place, they stay in our home - not some stripped down condo with nothing left out but the salt and pepper shakers. We leave everything out and encourage our guests to use or help themselves to anything they find. Lots of staples, condiments, spices, and much more, in the kitchen, guest toiletries in the bathroom, videos and CDs for the entertainment unit, magazines and books etc. etc. There's even a small BBQ on the sunny, south-facing deck (and sauces/marinades in the fridge - sorry, but you folks will have to buy the steaks!).

Please check our attached calendar and note that bookings must be for at least 4 nites (3 nites outside of the snow season) and must fit well within our availability. You can ask, but we might not accept bookings that create one or two night openings in our calendar. We have become well-known for our value and always book up early.
